About The Position

Requirements

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist or eligibility to obtain licensure.
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
Proficiency in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
Ability to lift and assist patients as needed.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy.

Responsibilities

Evaluate clients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities through observation and standardized tools.
Develop personalized treatment plans to meet clients’ goals and improve functional abilities.
Educate clients and families on improving daily activities, including using adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Advocate for clients’ needs and support access to community resources, services, and accommodations.
