About The Position

HealthPro Heritage is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a senior living facility in Turtle Creek, Dallas, Texas. The role involves assessing clients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities; creating individualized treatment plans; educating clients and families; maintaining compliant clinical documentation; and advocating for clients’ needs. The position offers flexible schedules and part-time benefits. Requirements

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or eligibility for licensure.
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
Proficiency in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
Ability to lift and assist patients as needed.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy.

Responsibilities

Evaluate clients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
Create personalized treatment plans to meet clients’ goals and enhance functional abilities.
Educate clients and their families about improving daily activities, including using adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Advocate for clients’ needs and support them in accessing community resources, services, and accommodations.
