About The Position

A full-time Occupational Therapist is sought to join a skilled nursing facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The facility provides rehabilitation services and describes its therapy department as collaborative and supportive. New graduates and experienced occupational therapists are welcome. The role involves evaluating patients, developing and delivering individualized treatment, documenting progress, educating patients and caregivers, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and supervising and guiding Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs). The position is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity with a Monday–Friday schedule. The estimated pay range is approximately $40–$50 per hour, depending on experience, setting, and location. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Current Colorado license or eligibility to obtain one.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Passion for improving patients’ quality of life.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and create individualized treatment plans.
Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve patients’ function and independence.
Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers about therapy goals.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team.
Provide supervision and guidance to COTAs.
