About The Position
A respected Skilled Nursing Facility in Hayward, California, is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join its collaborative therapy department and provide high-quality rehabilitation services. The facility offers support and tools for both new graduates and experienced occupational therapists. The role is a direct-hire, permanent placement scheduled Monday through Friday. The estimated rate is $60–$65 per hour, depending on experience, setting, and location. Some positions may offer a sign-on bonus or relocation assistance.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current California occupational therapy license or eligibility for licensure.
- Passion for improving patients’ quality of life.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and create individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve patients’ function and independence.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about therapy goals.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team.
- Provide supervision and guidance to COTAs.
