About The Position

Relient Health is recruiting a full-time Occupational Therapist for a permanent, direct-hire role at a Skilled Nursing Facility in Fresno, California. The facility provides rehabilitation services and describes its therapy department as collaborative and supportive. New graduates and experienced occupational therapists are welcome. The estimated pay rate is $55–$65 per hour, depending on experience, setting, and location.

The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients, develops individualized treatment plans, delivers therapeutic interventions, tracks progress, and adjusts plans as needed. The role includes educating patients, families, and caregivers, collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team, and supervising and guiding Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current California license or eligibility for licensure.
• Passion for improving patients' quality of life.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and create individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve patient function and independence.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about therapy goals.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team.
• Provide supervision and guidance to COTAs.
