About The Position

A full-time Occupational Therapist is sought for a direct-hire, permanent placement at a Skilled Nursing Facility in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The facility provides rehabilitation services and describes its therapy department as collaborative and supportive. The role is open to new graduates as well as experienced occupational therapists and involves helping patients improve function, independence, and quality of life. The schedule is Monday through Friday. Compensation is estimated at $40–$50 per hour, depending on experience, setting, and location.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Virginia license or eligibility for licensure.
• Passion for improving patients’ quality of life.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and create individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve function and independence.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about therapy goals.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team.
• Provide supervision and guidance to COTAs.
