About The Position
A full-time Occupational Therapist is sought for a direct-hire/permanent-placement role at a Skilled Nursing Facility in Fremont, California. The facility provides rehabilitation services and describes its therapy department as collaborative and supportive. New graduates and experienced Occupational Therapists are welcome. The estimated pay rate is approximately $60–$65 per hour, depending on experience, setting, location, and status. Some positions may offer a sign-on bonus or relocation assistance.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current California license or eligibility for licensure.
- Passion for improving patients’ quality of life.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and create individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve patients’ function and independence.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about therapy goals.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team.
- Provide supervision and guidance to COTAs.
