About The Position

Highpoint Health - Sumner with Ascension Saint Thomas is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist for its Acute Rehabilitation Unit. The role focuses on providing individualized occupational therapy to support patients’ daily living skills and recovery. The therapist evaluates patient conditions, develops treatment plans, delivers therapeutic interventions, documents care, and coordinates with healthcare professionals, patients, and families. The position also includes educating patients and caregivers about adaptive techniques and equipment and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Current license to practice occupational therapy.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
