About The Position

American Senior Communities is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist for Spring Mill Meadows/The Commons on Meridian. The role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and using clinical skills to support residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The position is part of the ASC Therapies and Wellness team, with a supportive environment, experienced therapy leaders, and a structured nine-month mentorship program. The schedule is listed as 30 hours weekly. The Occupational Therapist supports senior care through thorough assessments, accurate documentation of changes in resident conditions, and coordinated care with nursing and other facility teams. Requirements

Hold a current and valid Occupational Therapist license in Indiana.
Be able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.

Responsibilities

Promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being using occupational therapy clinical skills.
Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
Work collaboratively with nursing and other facility teams to support coordinated, comprehensive resident care.
Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
