About The Position

Discovery at Home is seeking an Occupational Therapist to serve Lehigh Acres Place and homes in the surrounding community. This PRN role primarily serves geriatric patients in assisted and independent living communities, with some home visits possible. Most cases are under Medicare Part A Home Health, with some Part B cases. The position has no set schedule or minimum hours, and clinicians determine their own caseload and schedule in coordination with patients. New graduates will receive support and mentorship. Weekend shifts are optional, and major holidays are not worked.

The hourly rate is $40 to $62, increasing based on experience and qualifications. Requirements

• Graduation from an Occupational Therapy program.
• Eligible for Florida state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Current CPR certification.
• Completion of a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as a condition of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous home health experience is preferred but not required.
