About The Position

HealthPro Heritage is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist in Dunwoody, Georgia. The position is split between two outpatient settings in assisted living facilities located eight minutes apart. The therapist will work with an established rehabilitation team and an active senior population, providing personalized care to support residents’ health, function, independence, and quality of life. The role includes evaluating clients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities; developing individualized treatment plans; educating clients and families about daily activities, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications; maintaining compliant clinical documentation; and advocating for clients’ needs. The position offers a pay range of $45–$48 per hour, depending on experience, and benefits beginning in the first month.

Requirements

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or eligibility to obtain licensure.
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
Proficiency in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
Ability to lift and assist patients as needed, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks related to therapy.

Responsibilities

Evaluate clients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observation and standardized tools.
Create personalized treatment plans to meet clients’ goals and enhance functional abilities.
Educate clients and their families about improving daily activities, including the use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Advocate for clients’ needs and support access to community resources, services, and accommodations.
