About The Position

Arbor Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their Home Health team as a 1099 Independent Contractor in the Apache Junction area. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to build a caseload that aligns with personal schedules and income goals. Arbor Therapy provides consistent referrals, clinical support without micromanagement, and meaningful community-based work. The company is also expanding its AAC program and is particularly interested in clinicians passionate about augmentative and alternative communication.

Requirements

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Active Arizona OT license (or ability to obtain).
Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain).
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to travel within Apache Junction and nearby communities.
Experience with pediatric populations (0–30 years preferred).
Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Provide evaluations and treatment in home and community-based settings throughout Apache Junction and surrounding areas.
Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
Adjust plans of care based on progress and clinical judgment.
Educate and partner with families and caregivers.
Complete timely, concise documentation.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
