About The Position
Sentara Leigh Hospital is hiring an Occupational Therapist for acute care. The Occupational Therapist assesses, plans, organizes, and participates in rehabilitative programs to improve functional mobility, relieve pain, improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury, and help build or restore vocational and daily living skills and general independence.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or higher.
- Virginia Occupational Therapy license.
- NBCOT certification.
- BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs.
- Help improve functional mobility and relieve pain.
- Help improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury.
- Help build or restore vocational and daily living skills and general independence.
