About The Position

Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, is a nationally ranked academic, quaternary care system based in Chicago's western suburbs. The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients and plans and implements effective occupational therapy programs based on assessment, clinical judgment, and psychological sensitivity for inpatients and/or outpatients with diverse diagnoses.

The role provides patient education, consultation, and discharge planning; supervises and delegates patient care to Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants, Rehab Technicians, and Occupational Therapy Students; and contributes to the growth of Occupational Therapy services by helping develop new programs and educating others about occupational therapy. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with weekend work every 4–5 weeks and two holidays/weekends per year.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (CPR).
• Illinois licensure as an Occupational Therapist.

Nice To Haves

• 1–3 years of job-related experience preferred; new graduates are welcome.
