About The Position
Powerback is hiring an Occupational Therapist to provide occupational therapy in an in-facility setting. The therapist assesses patient needs, develops recovery plans, and delivers individualized care designed to restore, reinforce, and enhance patients’ physical abilities and independence. The role involves addressing each patient as an individual, adapting to varied patient needs and care settings, collaborating with peers, making referrals when appropriate, and teaching patients and caregivers skills that promote independence and productivity. The position reports to the Director of Rehab. Powerback describes its approach as integrated, individualized, and patient-centered, with a focus on helping patients recover and improve how they feel, move, breathe, and live. The posted salary range is USD $70.00–$75.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
- Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.
