Occupational Therapist - Hoboken, NJ
About The Position
FOX Rehabilitation is seeking licensed Occupational Therapists to provide one-on-one care to older adults in Hoboken, Weehawken, and surrounding communities. Care is delivered in patients’ homes and senior living settings, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care, through FOX’s Geriatric House Calls™ model. Clinicians help patients improve mobility, independence, wellness, longevity, and quality of life, and may incorporate telehealth and other virtual care into their schedules when appropriate. The role offers autonomy to create and manage a treatment schedule, build lasting patient relationships, and work within a collaborative, interdisciplinary community-based practice. FOX offers full-time, part-time, and PRN/FOX Flex employment pathways. New graduates may be eligible for the Emerging Professionals Mentor Program. Compensation depends on experience and employment type; the listed New Jersey full-time base pay range is $70,000–$95,000 annually, with opportunities to earn more. Part-time and PRN compensation is prorated.
Requirements
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Basic computer and EMR proficiency.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of in-home and community-based care, including lifting, performing CPR, assisting with transfers and bed mobility, repositioning patients, standing and walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and performing therapeutic activities.
- Ability to drive to patient homes and senior living communities.
- Wear PPE when required.

Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one occupational therapy to older adults in private residences and senior living settings.
- Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment.
- Deliver therapy sessions that support patient wellness, longevity, mobility, and functional independence.
- Document effectively in FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and Fitness Specialists.
- Educate patients, caregivers, and senior living staff to promote safety, function, and aging in place.
- Provide telehealth or virtual care when appropriate.
- Drive to patient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls™ model.
- Potentially supervise PTA/OTAs and provide clinical instruction or mentorship opportunities.
