Occupational Therapist - Monroe, NJ
About The Position
FOX Rehabilitation is hiring licensed Occupational Therapists to provide one-on-one care to older adults in Monroe, New Jersey, and surrounding communities. Care is delivered in private residences and Senior Living Communities, including Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care settings, through FOX’s Geriatric House Calls™ model. Clinicians may also provide telehealth and other virtual care when appropriate. The role offers autonomy to create and manage a treatment schedule, build lasting patient relationships, and support mobility, independence, wellness, and quality of life. FOX is a clinician-operated practice focused on meaningful relationships, evidence-based care, and a mission to abolish ageism. Full-time, part-time, and PRN/FOX Flex employment pathways are available. New graduates may be eligible for the Emerging Professionals Mentor Program. The standard New Jersey base pay range for a full-time role is $70,000–$95,000 annually, with an opportunity to earn more. Part-time and FOX Flex compensation is prorated. Requirements
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Basic computer and EMR proficiency.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of in-home and community-based care, including lifting, performing CPR, assisting with patient transfers and bed mobility, repositioning patients, standing and walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and performing therapeutic activities.
- Ability to wear PPE when required.

Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one occupational therapy to older adults in private residences and senior living settings, including Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care.
- Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment.
- Provide therapy supporting patient wellness, longevity, mobility, and functional independence.
- Document effectively in FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and Fitness Specialists.
- Educate patients, caregivers, and senior living staff to promote safety, function, and aging in place.
- Provide telehealth or virtual care when appropriate.
- Drive to patient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls™ model.
