Occupational Therapist - Bridgeton, NJ
About The Position
FOX Rehabilitation is hiring licensed Occupational Therapists to provide one-on-one care to older adults in private residences and senior living communities in Bridgeton and surrounding communities in New Jersey. Using its Geriatric House Calls™ model, clinicians help patients improve mobility, independence, wellness, and quality of life. Clinicians may also provide telehealth and other virtual care when appropriate. The role offers autonomy to create and manage a treatment schedule, build lasting patient relationships, and work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary, community-based practice. FOX offers full-time, part-time, and PRN/FOX Flex employment pathways. New graduates may participate in FOX’s Emerging Professionals Mentor Program. The stated New Jersey standard base pay range for a full-time role is $70,000–$95,000 annually, with an opportunity to earn more. Part-time and FOX Flex compensation is pro-rated. Requirements
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state or states of practice, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Basic computer and EMR proficiency.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to meet physical demands that include occasionally lifting 25–50 lbs, frequently lifting 10–25 lbs, and constantly lifting up to 10 lbs.
- Ability to perform CPR; provide moderate to maximum assistance with patient transfers and bed mobility; reposition patients; stand and walk for extended periods; climb stairs; perform therapeutic activities; and wear PPE when required.
- Ability to drive to patient homes and senior living communities.

Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one occupational therapy to older adults in private residences and senior living settings, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care.
- Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment.
- Provide therapy sessions that support patient wellness, longevity, mobility, and functional independence.
- Document care in FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and fitness specialists.
- Educate patients, caregivers, and senior living staff to promote safety, function, and aging in place.
- Provide telehealth or virtual care when appropriate.
- Drive to patient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls™ model.
- Potentially supervise PTA/OTAs, mentor emerging professionals, or serve as a clinical instructor as opportunities arise.
