Occupational Therapist - Parsippany, NJ
About The Position
FOX Rehabilitation is hiring licensed Occupational Therapists in Parsippany, New Jersey, to provide one-on-one care to older adults in private residences and senior living communities. Using FOX’s Geriatric House Calls™ model, clinicians help patients improve mobility, independence, wellness, and quality of life. Care may also include telehealth and other virtual services when appropriate. The role offers autonomy to create and manage a treatment schedule, build lasting patient relationships, and work across in-home and senior living settings. Clinicians collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and use FOX’s EMR system. Employment options include full-time, part-time, and PRN/FOX Flex arrangements. New graduates may be eligible for the Emerging Professionals Mentor Program. The standard base pay range in New Jersey for a full-time role is $70,000–$95,000 annually, with an opportunity to earn more. Part-time and FOX Flex compensation is prorated. Requirements
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Basic computer and EMR proficiency.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to meet the stated physical requirements, including lifting, performing CPR, assisting with patient transfers and bed mobility, repositioning patients, standing and walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and performing therapeutic activities.
- Ability to drive to patient homes and senior living communities and wear PPE when required.

Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one occupational therapy to older adults in private residences and senior living settings, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care.
- Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment.
- Deliver therapy sessions that support patient wellness, longevity, mobility, and functional independence.
- Document care in FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and Fitness Specialists.
- Educate patients, caregivers, and senior living staff to promote safety, function, and aging in place.
- Provide telehealth or virtual care when appropriate.
- Drive to patient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls™ model.
- Potentially supervise PTAs or OTAs, mentor emerging professionals, teach as a Clinical Instructor, or contribute written and social content for additional compensation.
