About The Position
A full-time Occupational Therapist position at a skilled nursing facility in Bryan, Texas. The facility provides rehabilitation services and describes its therapy department as collaborative and supportive. The role is open to new graduates as well as experienced occupational therapists and includes opportunities to contribute to patients’ function, independence, and quality of life.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current Texas license or eligibility for a Texas license.
- Passion for improving patients’ quality of life.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and create individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve function and independence.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about therapy goals.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team.
- Provide supervision and guidance to COTAs.
