Occupational Therapist (OT) | Part Time
About The Position
Home Health Occupational Therapist (OT) opportunity in Green Valley and Sahuarita, Arizona. This is a Part-Time position with a minimum expectation of 5 visits or 10 hours per week. The rate is $70 - $95 per visit depending on experience, plus mileage and travel time reimbursement. As a Home Health OT, you will help patients regain their independence and learn to perform everyday activities in the comfort and familiarity of home. Requirements
- Current licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of Arizona.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist program
- CPR Certification (demonstration course required)
- Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card

- Experience in home health preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy to patients unable to perform daily tasks due to an illness or injury
- Work as part of a home health team which may include an RN, LPN, CNA, HHA, PT and SLP, focused on the patient’s plan of care and personal goals
- Assess patient, observe deficits, establish therapy goals and document progress
- Assist patient with exercises to improve fine motor skills and coordination
- Suggest adaptive equipment such as grab bars and shower chairs to offer added support
- Assess fall risks and introduce strategies to improve home safety
- Educate patient and family on plan of care, exercises, goals and self-care
