About The Position

Adoration Home Health is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered home health care in the Ronceverte, West Virginia coverage area. The role offers full-time work, flexible scheduling, independent practice with team support, and a $20,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates only. The position involves evaluating and treating patients under physician orders, helping patients achieve greater independence and function, and coordinating care with the treatment team, physicians, patients, and families. Requirements

• Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Education program approved by CAPTE.
• Current Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of practice.
• American Heart Association CPR certification; certification may be offered and completed upon hire.
• Two years of experience in adult occupational therapy.
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and basic math skills.
• Physical therapy skills as specified by the competency checklist.

Nice To Haves

• Home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform occupational therapy evaluations and treatment based on physician orders, including recommending and procuring adaptive equipment.
• Establish measurable goals and develop treatment plans to help patients reach their maximum level of independence and/or function.
• Maintain communication among the treatment team, physician, patient, and family members as applicable.
• Complete thorough and timely documentation of services to support proper billing.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants in direct patient care and patient-related activities in accordance with the state practice act.
