About The Position

Key Rehab is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to work in a post-acute care setting in Basehor, Kansas. The role involves implementing occupational therapy care plans, supporting patients as they progress through treatment, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Both new graduates and experienced therapists are welcome. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
Hold an active COTA license in the state of practice.
Adhere to Key Rehab’s Code of Ethical Conduct and relevant state and federal regulations.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Prior experience working with geriatric patients and understanding their unique needs.
Familiarity with current Medicare billing practices and guidelines.

Responsibilities

Implement the patient care plan developed by the Occupational Therapist, following established protocols.
Facilitate patient progress through the treatment plan and make adjustments as directed by the PT to optimize outcomes.
Work with healthcare professionals on the interdisciplinary team to coordinate and enhance patient care and help achieve individual goals.
