About The Position

Key Rehab is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join its team in a post-acute care setting in Basehor, Kansas. The OTA implements patient care plans developed by an Occupational Therapist, supports patients’ progress through treatment, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to help achieve individual goals. The role is open to new graduates and experienced therapists. An application may qualify the candidate for a bonus of up to $3,000.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
Hold an active COTA license in the state of practice.
Adhere to Key Rehab’s Code of Ethical Conduct and relevant state and federal regulations.

Experience working with geriatric patients and understanding their needs.
Knowledge of current Medicare billing practices and guidelines.

Responsibilities

Implement the patient care plan developed by the Occupational Therapist, following established protocols.
Facilitate patient progress through treatment plans and make adjustments as directed by the PT to optimize outcomes.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals on the interdisciplinary team to coordinate and enhance patient care and achieve individual goals.
