PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) - Acute Care
About The Position
PT Solutions is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide acute care rehabilitation services at Ascension St. Vincent in Anderson, Indiana. The hospital is a 125-bed inpatient facility with 13 dedicated acute rehabilitation beds, a Level 3 Trauma Center, and Joint Commission Stroke Certification. Patients receive personalized rehabilitation, particularly following trauma, surgery, or stroke, to support mobility, independence, and quality of life. PT Solutions partners with Ascension St. Vincent to provide specialized rehabilitation services. The PRN schedule requires two weekend day shifts per month, one major holiday, and one minor holiday. Compensation is $36.00 per hour on weekdays and $39.00 per hour on weekends.
Requirements
- Graduate of an ACOTE-approved occupational therapy assistant program.
- Current or pending state licensure.
- Basic Life Support certification.
Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients.
- Build strong relationships with patients to support them in exceeding their functional goals.
- Maintain positive connections with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members.
- Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital, including with physicians, case management, and nurses.
