About The Position
PT Solutions is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide acute care rehabilitation services in partnership with Advent Health-Gordon in Calhoun, Georgia. The role supports an Occupational Therapist in delivering rehabilitative activities and helping patients work toward their functional goals. The position requires two weekend day shifts per month, one major holiday, and one minor holiday. The hospital is located at 1035 Red Bud Rd NE, Calhoun, GA 30701.
Requirements
- Graduate of an ACOTE-approved occupational therapy assistant program.
- Current or pending state licensure.
- Basic Life Support certification.
Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients.
- Establish strong relationships with patients to help them exceed their functional goals.
- Build positive connections with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members.
- Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital, including with physicians, case management, and nurses.
