PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant - Acute Care
About The Position
PT Solutions is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide acute care rehabilitation services in Niceville, Florida, in partnership with HCA Florida Twin Cities. The role supports patients in reaching their functional goals and contributes to access to quality, evidence-based care. The PRN schedule requires two weekend day shifts per month, one major holiday, and one minor holiday. Requirements
- Graduate of an ACOTE-approved occupational therapy assistant program.
- Current or pending state licensure.
- Basic Life Support certification.
Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients.
- Establish strong relationships with patients to help them exceed their functional goals.
- Maintain positive connections with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members.
- Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital, including with physicians, case management, and nurses.
