About The Position

PT Solutions is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapist to provide acute care rehabilitation services in partnership with Coosa Valley Medical Center in Sylacauga, Alabama. The role focuses on expanding access to quality care and helping patients return to their previous level of functioning or proceed to the next level of care. The position requires two weekend day shifts per month, one major holiday, and one minor holiday. The stated pay is $55.00 per hour; posted compensation may account for background, experience, work location, and opportunities for salary growth.

Requirements

• Graduate of an ACOTE-approved occupational therapy program.
• Registered with NBCOT.
• Current or pending state licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based, quality care to help each patient return to their previous level of functioning or proceed to the next level of care.
• Establish timely treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Build positive connections with patients, patients’ families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members.
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital, including with physicians, case management, and nurses.
