About The Position

Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant assists the Occupational Therapist in the practice of occupational therapy to include development deficits, activities of daily living work conditioning, range of motion, coordination, balance endurance, cognition, and exercise programs to restore function and increase strength. PT Solutions works together with Adventist Health Rideout to provide rehabilitation therapy services in order to best serve patients in the area. Requirements

Graduate of an APTA or CAPTE approved occupational therapist assistant program
State Licensure
Basic Life Support Certification

Nice To Haves

Experience working with a diverse patient population in neuro, trauma, ortho, and hand therapy

Responsibilities

Prepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients
Establish strong relationships with each patient so that they have ability to exceed their functional goals
Demonstrate a positive connection with patient, fellow clinicians, and other team members
Build and maintain relationships throughout the community
