About The Position

The Occupational Therapist practices occupational therapy, including assessment, treatment planning, implementation, education, communication, and demonstration of therapeutic techniques to address the needs of patients and their families. The role works with supervisory guidance as needed; otherwise, the occupational therapist works independently without direct supervision. The position is with Covenant Medical Center and is part of Providence’s patient-focused, whole-person care team.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy school.
Upon hire, a Texas Occupational Therapist License is required.
Upon hire, National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Nice To Haves

Two years of rehabilitation experience.

Responsibilities
