About The Position

Butler Senior Living, a Springpoint Senior Living Affordable Housing Community in Butler, New Jersey, is seeking a full-time Occupancy Specialist. The position oversees occupancy responsibilities in accordance with Department of Housing and Urban Development and Tax Credit programs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) certification and experience if applicable to the program.

Nice To Haves

• Occupancy credentials such as Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), Certified Professional in Occupancy (CPO), or equivalent.
• Enterprise Income Verification (EIV) experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for yearly file audits and reviews by internal and external parties.
• Coordinate subsidy assignments, unit transfers, and move-outs and move-ins.
• Complete monthly tenant re-certifications.
• Organize and prepare resident files.
• Respond to tenant and applicant questions and inquiries and address issues accurately and promptly.
