About The Position
Observation Partners sit with and/or accompany patients continuously to assure their safety and well-being. This is a part-time position with a 3 p.m.–11 p.m. schedule. Employees must be available to work 48 hours per month, including 12 hours on a Saturday or Sunday.
Requirements
- Availability to work 48 hours per month, including 12 hours on a Saturday or Sunday.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with ambulation needs, which may require the use of a gait belt.
- Assist patients with meals and feeding needs.
- Document basic patient observations.
- Notify the appropriate patient care provider when a patient needs assistance.
- Perform continuous walking rounds to assure patients’ safety and well-being.
- Sit with and/or accompany patients continuously to assure their safety and well-being.
