About The Position

The Care Partner provides Activities of Daily Life services to residents in a managed senior living community, following each resident’s service plan. The role includes providing personal care, communicating with medical professionals and families about residents’ needs under the direction of the Director, Health and Wellness, and participating in meal service by serving, clearing, and cleaning the dining room. All services must comply with applicable regulations. The position is part-time, scheduled 3pm–11pm, and is based in Ocoee, Florida. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of experience in a caregiving role or similar function.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate clearly in person and over the phone.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
CNA or HHA qualification.

Responsibilities

Follow each resident’s service plan in a friendly, respectful, and supportive manner.
Document observed changes in residents’ conditions in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.
Comply with the Continuous Quality Improvement Program and help ensure services are complete and tailored to each resident.
Report issues that may affect the quality of services to the immediate supervisor for correction.
Follow company policies and applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations, including requirements related to resident care and documentation, HIPAA, OSHA, and Blood Borne Pathogen Guidelines.
Work safely with other employees, report unsafe actions promptly to a supervisor, and help ensure those actions are corrected.
Comply with Safety Committee Standards.
Foster teamwork and assist co-workers beyond assigned responsibilities, positively impacting co-workers, residents, and visitors.
Communicate resident needs among Care Partners.
Participate in meal service by serving, clearing, and cleaning the dining room.
Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
