About The Position

As a Locum Ob/Gyn at the associate level, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive women’s health services, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, and gynecological procedures. Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or active candidacy in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility to obtain one before start).
  • Experience in obstetrics and gynecology at the associate level.
  • Strong clinical, diagnostic, and surgical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work on-site in Corvallis and commit to a contract schedule.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Demonstrated commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced medical practice environment.
  • Must be board-certified.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to patients of all ages.
  • Perform routine gynecological exams, screenings, and diagnostic procedures.
  • Manage prenatal care, labor, delivery, and postpartum care for expectant mothers.
  • Conduct cesarean sections, hysterectomies, and other surgical interventions as needed.
  • Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the female reproductive system.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide emergency obstetric coverage when required.
  • Educate patients on family planning, reproductive health, and wellness.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies, medical protocols, and regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the practice.
