Nursing Supervisor (RN)
About The Position
The Nursing Supervisor leads an interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care and ensure residents’ health, comfort, and overall well-being. The role oversees facility operations, safety, cleanliness, and compliance with nursing policies, procedures, and regulations. The supervisor guides nursing staff, oversees daily staffing and resource allocation, collaborates with the interdisciplinary team on care plans, conducts assessments and audits, and provides staff mentorship and training. The position is with Eastside, an affiliate of National Health Care Associates, at 516 Mount Hope Avenue, Bangor, Maine. Requirements
- Valid state nursing license.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and chronically ill, with the ability to work with both.
- Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced degree or certification preferred.
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred.
