Nursing Supervisor (RN)
About The Position
As a Nursing Supervisor, you will lead an interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care and support residents’ health, comfort, and overall well-being. The role includes oversight of facility operations, safety, cleanliness, and compliance with nursing policies, procedures, and regulations. You will supervise and guide nursing staff, oversee daily operations, collaborate on care plans, assess and audit quality, and provide mentorship and training. The position is with A Great Place to Work Eastside, an affiliate of National Health Care Associates, at 516 Mount Hope Avenue, Bangor, Maine. Requirements
- Valid state nursing license.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- Interest in the nursing needs of older adults and chronically ill people, with the ability to work with both.
- Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced degree or certification preferred.
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred.
