About The Position

Community Nursing and Rehabilitation is hiring a Nursing Scheduler (QMA). The Nursing Schedule Coordinator is responsible for ensuring appropriate staffing levels at all times. The role creates staffing schedules that support quality nursing care and coordinates with the Executive Director and Director of Nursing to communicate staffing schedules and needs while ensuring compliance with budgetary, state, and federal guidelines. The scheduler works collaboratively with residents and team members and demonstrates the organization’s C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Requirements

Successful completion of a state-approved training program in medication administration.
Indiana QMA license.
Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Create staffing schedules that ensure the provision of quality nursing care.
Coordinate with the Executive Director and Director of Nursing to advise and communicate staffing schedules and needs.
Help ensure staffing complies with budgetary, state, and federal guidelines.
Collaborate with team members to support quick, equitable, and courteous scheduling patterns and resolutions.
Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents and team members.
