About The Position
The Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) administers non-parenteral medications to residents in accordance with physician orders, established policies and procedures, Indiana state regulations, and facility guidelines. The QMA works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and provides safe, quality care. QMAs do not perform invasive procedures or resident assessments. This position is scheduled for 36 hours per week on first shift, from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, and includes one weekend every four weeks. The position is eligible for a $6,000 sign-on bonus. Medical coverage is available on the first day of employment; all other benefits become effective on the first day of the month following the hire date.
Requirements
- Valid QMA License in the State of Indiana.
- BLS/CPR Certification.
