About The Position

The Nursing Assistant supports patients on the Neuro Medical-Surgical team through hands-on care. Under the direction of the Director/Manager and registered nurses, the position facilitates patient care by providing basic physical care and nursing procedures, assisting with comfort measures, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment. The role involves working closely with the nursing team and providing direct patient support.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• BLS certification required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

• Post-high-school specialized training preferred.
• Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic physical care and nursing procedures.
• Assist with patient comfort measures.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.
• Support patients and work alongside nurses in the Neuro Medical-Surgical setting.
