About The Position

The Nursing Assistant works on the Neuro Medical-Surgical team, alongside nurses, to provide patients with comfort, assistance, and support throughout their care. Under the direction of the Director/Manager and RNs, the Nursing Assistant facilitates patient care by providing basic physical care and nursing procedures, assisting with comfort measures, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment. This is a full-time night-shift role focused on direct patient support.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

• Post-high-school specialized training.
• Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.

Responsibilities
