About The Position
The Nursing Assistant (STNA/CNA) provides high-quality, compassionate care to residents while promoting their comfort, dignity, and well-being. The role follows resident care plans and assignment sheets, completes documentation, and collaborates with coworkers across units. The facility is family-owned and operated and describes itself as a 5-Star facility. The position is located at Anna Maria of Aurora Inc in Aurora, Ohio. Full-time employees may earn up to $29.00 per hour; the listed salary range is $19.00–$30.00 hourly.
Requirements
- Active STNA license in the State of Ohio.

Responsibilities
- Provide resident care according to care plans and assignment sheets.
- Assist with safe transfers and lifts, including one-person, two-person, and Hoyer lifts.
- Turn and reposition residents; assist with toileting, feeding, and personal and peri care.
- Ensure alarms and safety devices are properly in place and follow infection control procedures.
- Complete rounds, weights, and bathing schedules, and maintain clean, organized resident rooms.
- Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures as directed.
- Respond promptly to call lights and routinely check residents who are unable to request assistance.
- Observe and report changes in residents’ condition or behavior to the nursing team.
- Collaborate with coworkers across units to provide resident care.
- Complete required shift documentation, including electronic charting and resident care records.
- Assist residents with activities, social events, and transportation to appointments.
- Attend monthly STNA meetings, mandatory training, and required staff meetings.
- Complete 12 hours of continuing education annually to maintain certification.
- Maintain a professional appearance and comply with the facility dress code.
- Demonstrate dependability through consistent attendance, following directions, accepting feedback, and contributing positively to the team.
