About The Position
The Certified Nursing Aide helps create a welcoming, safe, and caring home for residents at The Waterford at West Bend. Working closely with the community team, the aide provides resident care and supports an exceptional experience. The starting rate is $18.00 per hour. Evening shifts are 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., every Friday and every other weekend. PRN/casual positions are also available.
Requirements
- Must be licensed in the state as a Certified Nursing Assistant and maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- A caring attitude and reliable attendance.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or guest service is preferred but not required.
- High school graduate or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties in accordance with accepted standards of resident care.
- Assist residents with dressing, grooming, bathing, escorts, and transfers.
- Assist residents with nutritional needs, including setting dining tables, serving meals, providing appropriate fluids, and offering substitutions when appropriate.
- Remind residents to take medication and open containers and packages for them.
- Recognize changes in residents’ behavior and conditions and report them to the Assisted Living Director.
