About The Position
As a Nursing Aide at Sonida Senior Living, you will help create a welcoming, safe, and caring home for residents. You will work closely with the community team to provide resident care and contribute to the experience of the community. The starting rate is $17.00 per hour. Full-time, part-time, and PRN options are available, with day, evening, night, and weekend shifts listed.
Requirements
- Must be licensed in the state as a Certified Nursing Assistant and maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- A caring attitude and reliable attendance.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or guest service is preferred but not required.
- High school graduate or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties in accordance with accepted standards of resident care.
- Assist residents with dressing, grooming, bathing, escorts, and transfers.
- Assist with residents’ nutritional needs, including setting dining tables, serving meals, providing appropriate fluids, and offering substitutions when appropriate.
- Remind residents to take medication and open containers and packages for them.
- Recognize changes in residents’ behavior or condition and report them to the Assisted Living Director.
