About The Position
The Nursing Aide helps create a welcoming, safe, and caring home for residents at Cottonwood Village in Cottonwood, Arizona. Working with the team, the aide provides resident care in accordance with accepted standards and contributes to the community’s care and resident experience. This is a full-time position with varying shifts.
Requirements
- Must be licensed in the state as a Certified Nursing Assistant and maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- A caring attitude and reliable attendance.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or guest service is preferred but not required.
- High school graduate or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties in accordance with accepted standards of resident care.
- Assist residents with dressing, grooming, bathing, escorts, and transfers.
- Assist with residents’ nutritional needs, including setting dining tables, serving meals, providing appropriate fluids, and offering substitutions when appropriate.
- Remind residents to take medication and open containers and packages for them.
- Recognize changes in residents’ behavior or condition and report them to the Assisted Living Director.
