About The Position

The Nursing Aide / CNA assists residents in an independent living, assisted living, and memory care community. The role supports residents with daily activities and care while encouraging self-care and independence, and treats residents with dignity and respect. The position is with The Addison of Oakleaf, a Sonida Senior Living community in Jacksonville, Florida.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or a similar field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instrumental activities of daily living, medication assistance, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Escort residents within the building and outside as needed.
• Assist with setting up and serving meals and cleaning up afterward.
• May assist with planning and carrying out regularly scheduled resident activities.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.
