About The Position
As a Certified Nursing Aide at The Addison of St. Johns, you will help create a welcoming, safe, and caring home for residents. Working with the community team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality resident care and a positive community experience. The role involves supporting residents with personal care, meals and hydration, medication reminders, and reporting changes in residents’ behavior or condition.
Requirements
- Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant license in the state.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- A caring attitude and reliable attendance.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or guest service is preferred but not required.
- High school graduate or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties according to accepted standards of resident care.
- Assist residents with dressing, grooming, bathing, escorts, and transfers.
- Support residents’ nutritional needs by setting dining tables, serving meals, providing appropriate fluids, and offering substitutions when appropriate.
- Remind residents to take medication and open containers and packages for them.
- Recognize changes in residents’ behavior or condition and report them to the Assisted Living Director.
