About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring an RN or LPN to provide nursing care at its 100-bed residential facility in Prince Frederick, Maryland, which offers drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation. Nurses support clients throughout admission, treatment, and discharge in a safe, structured, and supportive medical environment. The role works with medical, clinical, and utilization review teams to coordinate care and help clients begin recovery.

Requirements

• Current RN or LPN licensure to practice in the state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and efficient, with the ability to multitask.
• Compassionate, dignified character that models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality medical care for clients throughout admission, treatment, and discharge.
• Coordinate pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and maintain clear medication logs.
• Collaborate with medical, clinical, and utilization review teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, tracking, and reporting for each client.
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings.
