About The Position

Nurse Technicians work as members of the patient-care team under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, helping deliver quality care. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Take patients’ vital signs and check blood sugars.
• Provide bed baths and assist patients with ambulation.
• Perform wound care and catheterization.
• Act as a safety attendant for patients.
• Clean patient environments, work areas, and equipment.
• Communicate equipment malfunctions to appropriate department or unit personnel.
• Advocate for the privacy, confidentiality, and security of patient, staff, and organizational data.
• Demonstrate a high standard of moral and ethical behavior.
