About The Position

Nurse Technicians serve as members of the patient-care team under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), helping deliver quality care. The position is associated with a medical-surgical care unit at Reed City Hospital. The role is full-time, with 36 scheduled hours per week. The night shift runs from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.; days worked are Sunday through Saturday, with every third weekend scheduled. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 90 days.

• Demonstrate high standards of moral and ethical behavior.
• Advocate for the privacy, confidentiality, and security of patient, staff, and organizational data.
• Work as part of the patient-care team under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
