About The Position

The Nursing Scheduler/Central Supply Coordinator is a dual role responsible for ensuring appropriate staffing levels are met at all times and that staff have the necessary equipment and supplies to care for residents. This position requires a CNA or QMA and involves managing staffing schedules, ordering, re-ordering, stocking, delivering, and maintaining inventory of supplies. The role emphasizes creating a comforting atmosphere, strong organization, collaboration with leadership, teamwork, and excellent interpersonal communication.

Requirements

Successful completion of a state approved training program in medication administration.
Indiana CNA or QMA license.
Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff.

Responsibilities

Assure appropriate staffing levels are met at all times.
Order, re-order, stock, deliver, and maintain inventory of necessary equipment and supplies.
Create staffing schedules that ensure the provision of quality nursing care.
Coordinate with the Executive Director and Director of Nursing to communicate staffing schedules and needs.
Ensure compliance with appropriate budgetary, State and Federal guidelines.
Work towards a common goal of excellent care for residents.
Ensure quick, equitable, and courteous scheduling patterns and resolutions.
