About The Position

The Nursing Scheduler/Central Supply Coordinator is a dual role responsible for ensuring appropriate staffing levels are met at all times and that staff have the necessary equipment and supplies to care for residents. This position requires a CNA or QMA and involves managing staffing schedules, ordering, re-ordering, stocking, delivering, and maintaining inventory of supplies. The role emphasizes creating a comforting atmosphere, strong organization, collaboration with leadership, teamwork, and excellent interpersonal communication.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a state approved training program in medication administration.
  • Indiana CNA or QMA license.
  • Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Assure appropriate staffing levels are met at all times.
  • Order, re-order, stock, deliver, and maintain inventory of necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Create staffing schedules that ensure the provision of quality nursing care.
  • Coordinate with the Executive Director and Director of Nursing to communicate staffing schedules and needs.
  • Ensure compliance with appropriate budgetary, State and Federal guidelines.
  • Work towards a common goal of excellent care for residents.
  • Ensure quick, equitable, and courteous scheduling patterns and resolutions.
